The first Cricket World Cup contest was held in England in June 1975, while this will be the eleventh Cricket world cup being organized by the International Cricket Council.
The Schedule of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 has been announced recently by ICC (International Cricket Council) - Australia and New Zealand will be the joint hosts for this World Cup scheduled from February 14 - March 29. Normally, ICC announces the schedule of Cricket World Cup one year before the major event so that the host locations get sufficient time for preparing their stadium and other related infrastructure before the major event begins. For example, the schedule for 2011 Cricket World Cup ICC was announced in November 2009 and gave the organizer enough time for arrangement, same way this year also schedule has been announced earlier.

India Vs Australia Test Series 2013 Schedule
India and Australia will be facing each other soon in the Test Series, which is a month long championship beginning from February 22 to March 26, 2013. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has organized the India versus Australia series 2013. This Test Series is a part of the Future Cricket Tour Programs (FTP). Australia, who defeated India in the last Test Series in their own country, will play the test matches this year in India. The match will be played in India across all the major Indian Cricket stadiums. The bilateral Test series will comprise of four test matches.

Brett Lee retires from all format of International Cricket
Australia's fast bowler Brett Lee announced retirement from International Cricket. Though, he will continue playing in Australia's Twenty20 Big Bash & the Indian Premier League, this announcement is surely going to upset some of his fans. Brett is described as a fierce, fine, brave and generous opponent who always maintained the standards of sportsmanship. The 35-year-old bowler was forced to return home from Australia's recent tour to England because of a calf injury which made him realize enough is enough.
