India Tour of New Zealand: Timetable of ODI & Test
India’s much-anticipated tour of New Zealand has finally been confirmed. The New Zealand Cricket Board has officially announced the schedule for its home series against India, which will take place in the months of January and February, 2014. According to NZC, the Men in Blue will play 5 ODIs and 2 Tests against the Black Caps, starting from 19th January and ending on 18th February. The tour will also include a 2-day warm-up match before the Test series.
Previously, the tour was supposed to include five ODIs, three Tests, and one Twenty20 International in February-March months of next year. However, Indian Cricket Board was very keen to shorten the New Zealand tour so as to participate in the Asia Cup, starting in late February. Consequently, New Zealand agreed to shorten India’s visit and the tour was trimmed to five ODIs and just two Tests. Now, given below is the complete schedule of India tour of New Zealand 2014. The venues for all the matches have not been declared yet, but they are expected to announce very soon.
