India will tour West Indies in June for International cricket series after the completion of IPL season 4. After World Cup 2011 this will be the 1st series for India. The 1st schedule match of India v/s West Indies will start from 4th June. The locations have been declared but information is awaited which ODI will be day or day-night or when the T20 match will start.
In India's tour of the West Indies the island of Dominica will host its first Test match. The Indian team will play 5 ODI, 1 Twenty20 and 3 Test matches. From June 2006, any test series has not been played by India against West Indies. West Indies will complete a home series against Pakistan by the time. 8 different Caribbean cities will host games over the two series.
82 test matches were played by India and West Indies in which India won 11 matches and West Indies won 30 matches with 41 draws. Overall India had toured West Indies 9 times for test matches before this. Indians lost the series 5 times and won 2 times (1971 and 2006). 95 ODIs were played by India and West Indies in which West Indies won 54 times and India won 38 times with two no results and one tied game.
