2011 Sri Lankan Premier League is the first edition of domestic cricket competition of Sri Lanka which will take place on 19 July and continues up to 4 August. Many foreign players are invited to take part in this competition such as from Australia, India, etc.
Teams of SLPL 2011 include Kandurata, Basnahira, Ruhuna, Uthura, Nagenahira, Wayamba and Uva. Sri Lanka cricket board will select the players for each team of Sri Lanka Premier League 2011. All the teams of it will contain 16 to 18 players. SLPC national selection committee has chosen the foreign players for various teams on the basis of requirement of each team. More than 30 international players will be seen in SLPL 2011. 24 matches will be played by these seven teams on R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
