T20 Cricket World Cup 2012: Full Schedule & dates for Qualifier Round

The T20 Cricket World Cup 2012 is scheduled to be held from 18th September to 7th October in Sri Lanka. Before that, 16 teams will fight for qualifying the tournament, among which only six will be selected to play in the T20 world cup. The schedule for T20 Cricket World Cup 2012 Qualifiers has already been released. All 16 teams have been classified into two groups. Group A includes Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Nepal, Netherlands and Papua New Guinea (PNG) while Italy, Kenya, Namibia, Oman, Scotland, USA and Uganda are included in Group B.

The ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier matches have already been started from 13^th of March at Dubai. The series will end on 24th of March. There will be 5 venues for all 72 matches which include Dubai Sports City Stadium, GCA1 Academy Oval, GCA2 Academy Oval, Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Stadium. 16 matches out of a total of 72 matches of the series have already been played. As per the schedule, 8 matches will be played each day on 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 22^nd of March 2012.
 There will be no matches on 17th and 21^st March. On 23^rd 6 matches will be played whereas 2 matches are scheduled on 24^th.

On the first day of the series (13th March, 2012), 8 matches were played, which were Afghanistan vs. Papua New Guinea at Dubai (winner: Afghanistan), Italy vs. Oman at Dubai (winner: Oman), Ireland vs. Namibia at Dubai (winner: Namibia), Uganda vs. United States of America at Sharjah (winner: Uganda), Canada vs. Netherlands at Dubai (winner: Netherlands),Kenya vs. Scotland at Dubai (winner: Scotland),Hong Kong vs. Nepal at Dubai (winner: Nepal), Bermuda vs. Denmark at Sharjah (winner: Denmark). On 14th March, 2012 the next 8 matches were played. These include Ireland vs. Kenya at Dubai (winner: Ireland), Canada vs. Papua New Guinea at Dubai (winner: Canada), Bermuda vs. Hong Kong at Dubai (winner: Hong Kong), Italy vs. USA at Abu Dhabi (winner: Italy), Afghanistan vs. Netherlands at Dubai (winner: Afghanistan), Denmark vs. Nepal at Dubai (winner: Nepal)
